Why give to Deaf Equity?
Last year, we provided over 10 Empowerment Workshop series, hosted 4 major community events, and served more than 315 persons in 1:1 meetings, workshops, training, and more.
All of this was FREE!
We partner with community organizations, and provide support to their needs/gaps such as fiscal sponsorship, needing spotlights for their programming, or volunteers to support their work.
We have an Expert Network. This is a community-based network that we use as a referral base for those in search of specific expertise.
We provide community support services. We assign volunteers to every case that is reached to us. We have experts who present training, provide workshops and do community engagement work.
We provide FREE community-based empowerment series workshops. These workshops were offered FREE to community members and we provided access. Your funds support us in keeping our events FREE.
Your ideas are welcomed. Your ideas have a space and a platform with us. Do you have a project? Do you have an idea? A class you want to teach. We guide you to make sure you are successful! Projects we take on support our community, and are requested based on their needs.
